What is the difference between champagne, prosecco and cava?

Champagne, prosecco and cava often get muddled up, especially mistaking sparkling wine for champagne. Did you know that prosecco is actually the same as champagne, but that it comes from Italy? Champagne should only be called champagne if the grapes are grown and harvested in the French wine region of Champagne. If champagne comes from Spain, then it should actually be called cava. Brut is the name of dry champagne, and the term brut is protected by French law.

What is a magnum size bottle?

A magnum means that a bottle contains a whopping 1.5 litres of champagne or sparkling wine. We offer magnum bottles by Moët et Chandon and Villa Conchi.
